Details
Installation
We will intsall a small
software package on your workstation or network server.
This software will be
configured with the data that is to be backed up, and package it for delivery
to our server.
At every specified interval
(normally every 24 hours), our server
will request the backup data from your
machine, and the data will
be sent encrypted over the internet to our backup repository.
Backups
Our backup servers are
configured to save restore points of your data at 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6
months,
and annual points. This means that if a piece of data is lost
or damaged, and you don't notice the fact until
much later, you will be able
to retrieve the older undamaged copy from your server. Annual restore points are
normally valid up to 3
years, but may be extended indefinitely for a nominal fee (please contact for
pricing).
Restores
Restores are availible
online for small amounts of data (up to 100MB).
Hard copy restores are
availible of part or all of your data on request.
Hard copy restores are
availible on CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R, or DDS-4.
Hard copies will be made and
sent out within 24 hours of the request. (unless immediate is requested)
Pricing for hard copy
restores are as follows:
CD-R $2 per CD-R plus delivery
DVD-R $5 per DVD-R plus delivery
DVD+R $5 per DVD+R plus delivery
DDS-4 $20 per DDS-4 tape plus delivery (Please specify required backup format)
